A New England style “juicy” double IPA. Unfiltered, double dry hopped, and loaded with 3 of our favorite hops: Amarillo, Citra, and Mosaic. This beer is brimming with ripe, juicy citrus and tropical fruits from massive amounts of whirlpool and dry hop additions. A soft mouthfeel and low bitterness lends itself to a hoppy, yet drinkable Double IPA.

I'm not really sure when these brews started showing up, but it was like out the gate distro deal it seemed.
Here we have a beer marketed as a hazy ipa, but lacks much of the appearance and substance of such a thing. When poured into a Wolfie Nevada pint glass, it has pretty dang good clarity and a kind of amber colored appearance. Full 4/5" off white head. So basically, better looking than a hazy ipa. With a hop bill promoting Citra and Mosaic, it comes across as way more of the Amarillo up in here. Up in here. Not a big hop nose on this one. Good hit of caramel malt to it.
Taste is a heavy malt presence, more crystal/caramel malt. It does qualify as "juicy" though, Citra tangerine and a light pineapple feel to it. Lower carbonation in the mouthfeel, I guess that might be why they figured the bitterness was lower without using any wheat/oats.
I'm not sure where I keep getting this brewery from, someone's singles cooler. They fall into neither the "avoid" nor "seek" categories at this point. We'll have to see what beer #3 holds in store.
I added this beer to this Next Glass owned website and also reviewed it to help the possibly low amount of traffic here these days.
