Black and sticky. Not quite liquorish, but in the same vicinity. My mouth remembers the flavour for a good while. Nice starting head: Areo bar bubbly, but quickly fades.
On of my go-to beers for a change of taste.

355ml bottle poured into tulip.
Pours almost black with ruby highlights and a thin cap of brown head that leaves clouds of foamy lace as it recedes.
Smells of roasted caramel malt, toffee, dark chocolate, coffee grounds and weedy green hops.
Tastes of more singed toffee, bitter chocolate, coffee and more plain leafy hops.
Feels mild and smooth. Medium bodied with lightly fizzy carbonation. Finishes dry.
Verdict: Recommended. Tasty enough.
