I like beer. I like honey. Nevertheless, I'm getting a little sick of people putting honey in my beer.

This beer probably has the makings of a good pilsener had it not been adulterated by the honey. It looks as any good pils should, with a gold colour and a foamy one-finger head that left sheets of lace on the sides of the glass.

The smell was mainly malty, with little hop presence. It got a bit sour and yeasty as it warmed. It tasted malty, sweet — though smooth — but barely any hops! Where's the bitterness? It appeared fleetingly in the crisp finish, but beyond that there wasn't much pilsener going on for me.

This beer is drinkable enough, but I'd rather have a straightforward pilsener, without the honey.

One of 4 in a taster 8 pack.

deep clear yellow. no real head to speak of even with an aggressive pour and very little lacing.

found it smelled a little grssy, sweet, and somewhat bread/biscuity

smooth buscuit flavour on the up-swig followed by a metallic bitterenss that kept my score from being higher. Found it had a pleasnat buscuit aftertaste.

was more full-bodied and smoother than I anticipated.

decent Pil, i wouldn't mind trying another someday.

Came in a Tree variety pack.

Pours a clear yellow, small white head, goes very quick, almost nonexistant after a couple minutes, no lacing. Smell is sweet, some citrus, grassy, some bread, very mediocre. Taste is weak, some sweetness, bit of floral/citrus hopping, some bread, weak finish. Mouthfeel is light bodied with medium carbonation. Kind of bad, not sure why this was included in the pack as its far inferior to the other Tree's I've had.

Appearance – This beer is a pale and very clear yellow with a small amount of white bubbly head. There is good amounts of lacing left on the glass.

Smell – Not a whole lot of smell. I get a straw like aroma with touches of skunk and honey. Not bad but not impressive.

Taste – Tastes almost grassy. Straw is present again with slight touches of honey if you really look for it. There is a very vague bitterness at the end as well. Not bad but not great.

Mouthfeel – Carbonation is actually nice in this one as it does not feel coarse at all. Body is not as thin as expected as well which is nice.

Drinkability – As far as drinkability goes, this one is not that great. The beer goes down reasonably well but does not entice you to sip again.

This Pilsner was somewhat disappointing. It’s lacking somewhere…but does have potential.
