355ml can, another component of the 2018 Summer mixed-pack - I forget what they call it, and they sure as shit don't update their website.

This beer pours a clear, medium copper amber colour, with two fingers of puffy, finely foamy, and faintly bubbly ecru head, which leaves a bit of Swiss cheese pattern lace around the glass as it genially recedes.

It smells of gritty and grainy pale malt, some muddled domestic citrus rind, an estery yeastiness, and very subtle earthy, weedy, and floral green hop bitters. The taste is grainy and crackery cereal malt, still hard to parse acrid citrus notes, musty and spicy yeast, and more well-understated leafy, herbal, and musky floral hoppiness.

The carbonation is average in its palate-pinging frothiness, the body a decent middleweight, and sort of smooth, as a touch of generic hop acerbity takes things down a peg or two at this particular juncture. It finishes trending dry, the yeast and weird hops landing as such.

Overall - well, this rounds out the trifecta of boring and hard to like offerings from this brewing concern. The hop flavour here isn't really a flavour, it's essentially just untethered bitterness - not exactly appealing. I just saw that Tree and Big Rock have some sort of joint venture pending - good, they deserve each other.
