Appearance - Near black, dark chesnut brown with a small thin off white head and very modest retention.
Smell - Roasty malts, hints of coffee and plenty of grain. Pretty inviting.
Taste - Just about like the nose, roasty, hints of coffee and oats, middling bitterness
Mouthfeel - Good expressive carbonation, a touch thinner body-wise than expected but nothing too unusual.
Overall - A solid oatmeal stout that I'd be happy to enjoy another time.
