Bottle to hotel wine glass.
A - Translucent light amber colour with a thin layer of cream coloured head.
S - Whiskey and oak up front with some lighter caramel in the background. The barrel definitely dominates the nose.
T - The barrel flavours come to the forefront as the nose suggested: whiskey, oak and a touch of vanilla. Sweet toffee and caramel flavours in the background.
M - Medium body with some stickiness. Moderate carbonation.

A: Copper with a huge off-white head; ring of retention leaves some lace.
S: Floral, sponge toffee, cotton-candy, hints of beer nuts.
T: Bready, light caramel & sponge toffee, floral, vanilla, solid bitterness, hints of oak, alcohol is hidden.
M: Light residual sweetness, smooth moderate body still has a relatively crisp finish.
O: Not an exceptional barrel-aged beer, but a very nice drinker. Bigger than their Thirsty Beaver, with similar flavours to their Red Wood.
