L- Bright gold, clear, pours with 1Cm white fine-bubble creamy robust lookinghead.
S- When I popped the cap, from a foot away I got a 'whiff of Jamaica', usually a good sign of vibrant trad hopping. Now the glass has rested a minute it's less apparent.
T+F- Crisp, hoppy-dry, in fact on subsequent sips I notice it's notably drying on the tongue such is the hopping. In comparison the flavour is quite light, though I note nothing wrong with the flavour as such.
O- Thankfully the hops are more 'trad' than contemporary. It's clean, refreshing though pretty light on flavour. If you were having a summer lunch outdoors in Greece this might work well, maybe less so for mid-winter in northern Europe.
Bought from Amathus drinks shop, Wardour Street, Soho, London. I understand they are the sole importer into the UK. £2.75/BB: 15/09/2020

Pours a finger of head on a clear golden body.
The aroma is lemon and a little metallic.
The taste has a solid lemon bitterness, a bit too much on the metallic bitter side though.
The texture is crisp.
It's fine.

Poured from bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a light golden amber color with a huge billowy white head. The head has a decent level of retention, slowly fading over time to leave some light bits of bubbly lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is mostly a mix of a grainy and bready smell with that of some fruity aromas. The fruit aromas are heaviest of a lighter harvest fruit nature consisting of some apple and pear. Along with these smells comes some lighter notes of a caramel and a hint of yeast as well.
Taste – The taste begins with a bready flavor mixed with a little bit of the lighter fruits that were detected in the nose. As the taste moves forward the fruity tastes fade with a more grainy and haylike taste taking the fruits place. This leads to a drying out of the flavors of the brew and makes for a rather crisp taste. With a touch of an herbal taste coming at the very end, one is left with a crisp and clean flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is rather thin with a carbonation level that is average to a bit on the higher side. This feel is fantastic for the crisp and grainy flavors of the brew and makes for one refreshing feel overall.
Overall – This is a very nice and crisp pilsner. Not sure why this in Monday’s choice, but this is certainly a nice brew for a hot summer day.

Best before end: 12/31/14.
Pours a light yellow with a foamy white head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, earth, floral, and grass aromas. Taste is much the same with grain, floral, and grass flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that smells great and is easy to drink.
