#1773 - Blind-tasted except for the beer's name and brewery/country, zero reviews below read (yet!)...
L- Quite deep amber and poured (with care) quite hazy with a 5mm creamy looking white head. ps @ +10mins, holds veeery well.
S- Mildy bitter + citrus note.
T- Immediately hoppy-dry. then off into a dry citrus.... mandarin orange type note.
F- Definitely dry, the hops repeatedly dryly brush my palate.
O- It reminds me why I didn't drink Pale Ale as a youth, the dry hops are just too dominant for me, my palate misses some balancing malts with a touch of richness/warmth. Seems my tastes haven't changed much in 30-40 years
Review/scoring all done, now the reveal, I get to read the bottle lables to see what I missed! ==> Now I see that I left major sediment behind in the bottle. Nothing of note found on lable.
330ml bottle BB: 20/08/2021 £2.66 Bought from BeersOfEurope/King's Lynn as part of a large pick-your own consignment to London.
