The 4 hops and roasted malts give a.slightly bitter but full flavor. Oats provide a nice body and the licorice gives a subtle pleasant finish. The perfect balance of hops and spices, a warm feeling yet low in alcohol. Infused with Belgian Fillierz Whisky!!!

11.2oz bottle served in a Brasserie D'Achouffe tulip glass. No date on bottle itself, but on the cap is a "PWWI-02A 03-01-2025" mark, which I presume (and hope) is the date that this was bottled.
Appearance: Dark brown with some amber color when held up to the light. Thin off-white head with some islands and strands of lacing. Even with a slow pour, some sediment came along for the ride.
Smell: Fruity esters, some spices, and there is a hint of scotch whiskey with a swirl of the beer.
Taste: Tastes much like it smells, but not getting much of the whiskey. It's just barely there. Hard to pick out what the spices are. Maybe some cinnamon and orange peel, and based upon the spicy warming, I'd say its likely cinnamon, but I can't rule out something chili-like.
Mouthfeel: Good carbonation, good thickness, smooth, dry finish with a little bit of spicy warming that lingers.
Overall / Drinkability: Interesting flavor beer, and definitely works as a winter warmer given how cold it is this evening. I wish the "whiskey infused" was stronger, but otherwise enjoyable as a slow sipping and savoring beer, even though the flavors are not deep/strong. Well blended might be a better way to describe it. I wouldn't mind a larger glass of it but at the price point, I'm not sure I would pick it up again.
