Served on cask at port street bar
Pours a dark dark brown body with tan head & perfect handpulled pour
Slight wood & smoke aroma
Dark fruit flavours with some tobacco and soapy notes
It's an okay mild but more like watered down stout

Cask pour at the Stockbridge Tap (Edinburgh).
Dark mahogany body, clear with an excellent light tan head that leaves a full coat on the glass.
Mild flavor (of course); mildly bitter; leans towards hoppy for style.
Light body with good carbonation.

Cask 10 oz pour at Craft Beer Co, Covent Garden. Pours a ruby red brown with a small creamy head (cask pour) that stays a while and leaves spotty lacing. Nose is mild, with perfumy flowers and light malt fruits. Flavor is hugely fruity malts. Wow. Light but so flavorful. Lingering bitterness lasts on the tongue. Mouthfeel is typical cask and perfect for this beer.
Honestly, I found myself taking large gulps of this beer and could have had 5 or 6 more. This is exactly the kind of beer people are looking for when they visit the UK and have their first cask ale. I wish more breweries made a dark mild...and they were all this good.
