L) Black, opaque, creamy white-tan fine head.
S) Very light coffee odour, maybe some chocolate ice cream and even rum in there. This hasn't been chilled for long, so would have expected a bit more.
T) Light coffee as per the nose, nice burnt malt is there. A very nice creaminess to it, quite a mild flavour overall.
F) Smooth and creamy, the carbonation is low but fits into the mouthfeel perfectly.
O) This is fantastic, a quality beer, very subtle in its flavour profile, my only complaint is that it comes in a 330ml bottle as opposed to 500ml bottle.

Very strong coffee. Bitter aftertaste. But thin.

Cask & served via handpump at the Port street bar
Pours a textbook cask beer with dark body and 2.5cm thick tan head
cafe latte aroma
quite a creamy flavour to compliment the bitter coffee

28th April 2012: half pint, cask in The Craft, London.
Dark body, black as black with a good full tan coloured head. No lacing though as the beer level sank.
Roasted malts rule the roost in this beer, both in the nose and the taste: coffee, dark chocolate, smoked/burnt hazel nuts and wood, hints of vanilla could also be found in the aroma and in the flavours once I started drinking it.
Found it a little dry and unsweetened for my palate, but certainly drinkable.
