Rather creamy, Overly week at times. Lots of chocolate, some roasted malt.

Surprised the scores aren't a bit higher on this one. I was REALLY impressed both at the brewery and out of the bottle. Pours pitch black and has a great mouthfeel with all the flavors that one looks for in an Imperial Stout.

Poured from one of MGB's 1L growlers into a tulip
A:Pitch black with a thin tan head
S: Fantastic, bold mix of coffee, cocoa, bourbon, molasses and Irish cream
T: Coffee, molasses, cocoa but tons of heat from the alcohol. The bourbon from the nose turns into cheap brown liquor
M: Full-bodied, thick, alcoholic heat
O: I really wish the complexities of the nose carried through. The nose didn't show the booze that the rest of the beer has. This tastes good and has a lot of potential but the alcohol is way out of balance
