A great representation of a southern hemisphere 2xIPA--think Enjoy By. In fact, if you enjoy (get it?) Enjoy By, you'll at least like this.
A--Good amber color, but a bit too much yellow hue. Overall, nice.
S--Not as exploding as EB, but the hop presence is there. The danky, piny aroma is noticeable and delightful.
T--Like I said, southern hemisphere hops up front, definitely a really good taste, and so very easily drinkable.
M--good mouthfeel--a nice thickness about it and it coats the mouth nicely. The body is far above average on this one.
O--Right up there with EB, and that's a statement (as opposed to a question, I guess). Kidding aside, hopheads will like this, EB fans will love it.

Pours a clean orange-ish color with an off white head. In the aroma, orange citrus dryness and a small alcohol presence. In the taste, a dryer orange citrus rind, with a note of alcohol. A hop bite and a medium bodied mouthfeel, with a dry orange citrus rind in the aftertaste. Nice imperial IPA, but a bit boozy for 8%.

It was a wintry night in January and a buddy and i tried the Market Garden. The Centinnial was one of my favorites. The beer poured a hazy copper with thin white head that laced on the glase. The smell was big on pine and orange citrus. The taste was a decent blend of pine and orange citrus with a good sweet malt balance. The mouthfeel was a full bodied IPA with good carbonation. If it weren't for the high abv...we would be talkin session baby!!!

Menu says it's 132 IBU, brewed with Centennial, CTZ, Nelson Sauvin, and Galaxy hops.
Really enjoyed this beer--a good offering from Market Garden. This was my first visit to the brewpub, and I really had a good time. From other reviews, it seems like some of the beers aren't necessarily up to par, but I definitely liked this one.
Pours a hazy copper-brown with moderate tan head. A little dark for a truly pretty IPA, but it fits the part of a good extra IPA. Nose is really fresh and hoppy--citrus and fresh leafy-zestiness (not sure if that makes sense).
Flavor is very hop-forward, which is what I was looking for, but something about it was a bit off. After homebrewing a little bit, I think it's that quality in a beer when it's a little young--the flavors haven't melded together quite yet--and the overall beer is a bit rocky. I don't think it's a bad thing (especially because that means it is fresh!), just something that I wasn't crazy about.
Feel was pretty standard, nicely carbonated and good heft to the beer without making it difficult to drink. Overall, a fine double IPA here, something that kind of sets this brewery apart from the one around the corner (ok I guess LEM on tap is pretty good...).
Looking forward to getting back to MGB for a few more beers!
