Buckeye stout combines the magic of chocolate and peanut butter with the perfect balance of smooth, indulgent, yet light and surprisingly refreshing. Dark decadent cocoa notes meet silky peanut butter undertones and complex roasted malts. An Ohio lover’s go-to for crisp evenings and dimly-lit hangs.

I had two cans of this, I knew it. I searched high and low for the second because I really enjoyed the first.
It opens dark and mysterious with a peanut butter gimmick aroma protruding right away. The taste delivers, though, with a well balanced, flavorful, not-too-heavy peanut buttery stout. A joy to drink. A substantial brew but you could have two without getting bored.
Recommended. I really like this brewer. I don't care for the restaurant too much (I have bad memories of chickens being slaughtered while you wait at the site of the brewery, as a child in the 60's) but they have been selling great canned prodcuts around here for a while now - all good stuff!
