Deep mahogany in color, good tan head, great lacing. Thick collar. Aroma is heavy on the coffee, some molasses and earthiness. Taste is also heavy on the coffee, and woody. Medium body and medium carbonation. Good beer, especially if you are feeling a good coffee forward beer.

On tap at Barrels and Bottles in Golden. Amber color and a pretty decent coffee aroma. Flavor was bland, bits of coffee, pretty boring. I would not order this again and compared to Sunday Morning it's a total let down. How can the regular version be better than the imperial?

Pours red with an off white head. Aroma is candy and fruity caramel with at best maybe some slight hints of coffee. Flavor starts off sweet with some candy and fruity caramel, then comes in the coffee, I guess, but can’t say it tasted like any coffee I have ever enjoyed. A medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, total pass. Couldn’t even finish my taster of this.
