12 ounce can into tulip glass, no can dating. Pours lightly hazy golden amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of lemon, tangerine, peach, pear, apricot, pineapple, passionfruit, mango, melon, grapefruit, orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, pine, cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big lemon, tangerine, peach, pear, apricot, pineapple, passionfruit, mango, melon, grapefruit, orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, pine, cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus rind, herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, tangerine, peach, pear, apricot, pineapple, passionfruit, mango, melon, grapefruit, orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, pine, cracker, biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate pale malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance. Slight lingering hop astringency after the finish, but not overwhelming. Moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, sticky/resinous/rindy, and fairly crisp balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol for 6%. Overall this is a delicious IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and easy to drink; despite the aggressively bitter/drying finish. Nailed the west coast style intent. Extremely dank/vibrant hop complexity; solid pale malt backbone with no residual sweetness. A very enjoyable offering.

Don't remember seeing this fine ale in my journeys to the Mile High City, instead found it at a well supplied local "quickie mart"..... Has all the qualities I look for in a great IPA...all around yumminess.

good to see a new can from these guys, its been quite awhile since i have. this is a decent ipa, quite sturdy on the grain front, balanced on the bitterness, and fairly drinkable until it warms up and falls apart. its substantial enough to be a fall or winter ipa, a nice richer grain profile to it at its heart, but also light and fresh enough on the hops to also seem summery, with strong bright citrus notes on the nose and a really pungent floral and tangerine hop taste, best of both worlds. for me though, it gets a little heavy, not sweet, but malty and more robust that i can drink a lot of with just a little bit of temperature, and it feels bigger than i want to session. carbonation is awesome though, and i like the citrusy hop profile a lot, its just not quite lined up perfectly. i still prefer their original rye ipa to almost anything else hop forward they have done to date, thats a colorado classic at this point, but i am glad to see them continue to develop new recipes, this is pretty good...

L: hazy gold with a sticky 2" ivory foam collar with good retention.
S: smells like melon, citrus and light biscuit.
T: Fruit and light biscuit lead the flavors with a moderate citrus rind bitterness emerging mid-palate. The fruit flavors move towards citrus in the finish as the beer dries with a hint of tartness.
F: creamy with a medium to medium light body and medium high carbonation.
O: flavorful, refreshing and very easy to drink IPA.

12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a hazy glowing golden with a huge chunky white head that sticks around leaving great thick retention and frothy lacing. The aromas have lots of fresh bread and crackers. Lots of malts with some mild hints of citrus. It's slightly floral as well. The flavors have some citrus notes. Some lemon and grapefruit in the mix. Lots of fresh grass along with some subtle pine notes. More bread and crackers. Solid malt backbone. Solid hop bitterness. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is on the lighter side of medium-bodied with moderate carbonation. It's very fluffy and smooth. Easy to drink.
This is an okay IPA, but it's ultimately pretty forgettable. It doesn't standout at all in the world of IPAs.

A pretty good IPA. Hazy honey-orange with a rich, thick, soapy head. Smell is nice; strong pine and background citrus fruits, some breadiness from the malts. Taste is hopped-up but not a bomb. Bitterness is nicely measured and provides a good counter to the hops.
Could be a session if it wasn't north of 6%. All IPA, but not an overwhelming chore. Just like a good CO IPA should be.

12oz can. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, tan head of foam. It smelled of citrus, pine and toasted caramel. Sweet fruitiness with a toasty caramel finish.
