12oz can. Poured out a clear, golden color with a small, tan head of foam. It smelled of tangerines, toasted caramel and hints of pine. Sweet tangerine and caramel flavor. Decent bitter hop bite.

12 oz. Can

Poured into a Trillium glass a nice hazy golden yellow color, pretty nice carbonation, with a nice thick/creamy one-finger white head, which also leaves some sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, mango), piney. The taste is hoppy, malty, with a nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, mango), piney. Medium body, ABV is hidden nicely, with a dry/bitter finish. Overall, a tasty brew.

12 oz can. Pours slightly hazy straw yellow with a medium creamy white head that retains well and leaves some lacing.

The aroma is sweet tropical fruit with some bready malt.

The flavor is sweet sugary tropical fruit with some bready caramel malt and a medium bitter alcoholic slightly plastic finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, an OK fruity DIPA with an odd finish.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, no can dating. Pours slightly hazy golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big tangerine juice, lemon, orange, peach, pear, pineapple, mango, melon, citrus zest, banana, light pepper/pine, cracker, white bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine juice, lemon, orange, peach, pear, pineapple, mango, melon, citrus zest, banana, light pepper/pine, cracker, white bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel, peppery, grassy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine juice, lemon, orange, peach, pear, pineapple, mango, melon, citrus zest, banana, pepper, pine, cracker, white bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero astringent hop flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Light-medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately grainy/sticky, and slightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 8.5%. Overall this is a very nice fruited DIPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish. Nice unique mix of dank and vibrant hop complexity from the Jarrylo hops; well attenuated and pretty light feeling considering the ABV. A very enjoyable offering.

I like it. Poured from a can into a chilled pint glass. Dry, hoppy but not super hoppy. You can definitely smell the tangerine. The taste is more bitter than sour but with a citrus smell. Aftertaste is dominated by the tangerine more than the hops I think which is nice. Kind of light and refreshing. The ABV is well hidden. If not for the high ABV, this would be a great hot summer day session IPA. Ball game beer for IPA drinkers, but not at 9.5%.

12 ounce can into snifter. Pour is a still pale orange with diminishing white head. Aroma is tangerine skins, earthy, pine needles, whiffs of booze, and cracker malt. Flavors lay surprising light on the palate, with tangerine juice and citrus zest followed by juicy, grassy and lightly bitter hops. Slightly resinous mouthfeel with a balancing amount of clean malty breadth. Lingering dry finish. Can't wait to drink this when it's actually warm here in Colorado.

Poured from can into tulip. Golden orange on the pour with about an inch of ecru head, lighter than many double IPAs. The tangerine isn't obvious in the scent, and it's a little light in the pine as well. Again, lighter than other double IPAs, and especially in "light" that it's an 8.5% ABV brew. Not super-rich or velvety, but pleasant on the tongue. Solid summer double IPA, though that phrase seems kind of odd.
