12 oz can. Pours hazy straw yellow with a medium fizzy white head that quickly goes to a thin film that leaves a little lacing.
The aroma is earthy yeast with ginger and lemongrass.
The flavor is sweet cracker malts with lots of ginger and a little fruit. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low sharp carbonation.
Overall, an interesting spiced beer.

Well, it's not quite 4:00 in Northeast Ohio, but it's a different time somewhere else. Yup, this is a blonde ale with a little something extra, and that works for me, since blondes can be kind of boring.
This pours golden and hazy. The nose gives away that something odd is going on. That ginger and lemongrass are all over the aroma and taste, to great effect. It is a very refreshing drink.
Highly recommended.
