Dark brown, with a fading tan head. Aromas and flavors of roasted malts, leading to coffee and a mix of chocolate notes, including something akin to a Tootsie Roll, as well as a little hop bitterness. Not too sweet or overly viscous. Medium+bodied.

I had this one on tap at Renegade. Poured a clear dark brown nearly black with a small lingering tan head. Aromas of licorice, coffee and bitter chocolate. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of roasted malt, chocolate, hops, earth and black licorice.
