new one at renegade. pours an only very slightly hazy medium amber color with a one inch lasting almost pure white head. smells like fresh hops in the citrus family, and dry irish red malts, a bit of earthy peat like aroma as well. flavor is very mellow, less intense than many american india pales on the hop front, just lots of hop flavor and a quick hit of bitterness in the finish. malts are really well balanced. sweeter red malts add a caramel sort of overtone. very earthy and understated, sessionable. mouthfeel is nice, well carbonated and medium bodied. overall an easy drinking hoppy red ipa thats priced fairly. a winner.
