2015 National Homebrewers Conference Bottle
Jamil Zainasheff (Heretic), Mike Mraz (Mraz) and Julian Shrago (Beechwood) are all homebrewers at heart. Every time they reach for the mash paddle, they remember the inspiration of the hobby that got them started down their career paths. The team of three tapped into this inspiration to create Be Bold, Be A Homebrewer, a Belgian-style ale.
We also packaged this beer with a dose of Brettanomyces, so it is great to drink now or to add to your cellar to savor on a special occasion.

Great aroma, fruit forward and funky brett bust out of the bottle. Taste follows with a dry, subtly spiced golden ale. Belgian yeast comes thru in the finish. Nice table beer.

Bottle provided by my buddy DerekA.. Thanks my friend for this rarity. Pours light golden with a slight haziness... okay head with spiderweb lacing... Light Brett with lemony pear and apricot... a little white peppercorn with warmth.. decent residual maltiness is left over to give the brett something to chew on for a while... I believe it could age for a while longer... earthy with warmth. Nice brew... Very happy I had a chance to try it a couple times now.

This might be my first time reviewing a beer first. I can promise you all that i put much thought into the score given. Trust in Hop_God.
Look: golden yellow. Medium haze. Minimal white head
Smell: yeast. Bread. Tart. There's a sweetness also on the nose.
Taste:more breadiness. Subtle tartness and funk from the Brett.
Mouthfeel: fairly carbonated. Coates your mouth for just a second. Strong bite on the end
Overall: pretty solid. There's a lack of balance to this but it hits on some nice notes. Similar to RR redemption IMO. Not bad
