Poured from the tallboy can into a large wine glass. The beer is a hazy golden orange color with a foamy 2.5 finger thick off-white head with minimal lacing. Sediment visible after pouring out the whole can. Smell is juicy with lots of tangerine and citrus peel, alongside a solid malt base of bread. Taste is similar but a bit more balanced. Sweet tangerine and cream with a bready base. Finishes slightly bitter with orange peel, but still balanced. Very drinkable and super accessible. A good gateway beer.

16 oz can from Brewers Haven. Medium golden pour, small, tightly beaded head. Aroma comes off as true golden, biscuit malts with the tiniest hint of citrus. Tangerines burst onto the palate, sweet and full, buoyed by the solid malt base. Nice feel and super tasty.

a great beer, bold for a blonde ale, almost feels and drinks more like a belgian strong pale, even though this isnt yeast forward or anything, the tangerine sort of provides similar esters, especially with the exposed alcohol and little bit of residual sweetness, a really neat recipe and something that plays in a space that very few beers available locally do, so it was a treat to drink. quite clear and light looking in the glass, an average white head on it and come carbonation building inside the glass, breaking free and rushing up at random. it smells like bitter orange peel, high tone citrus, simple pale barley malt and maybe a sugar spike for gravity, some grassy hops in the mix as well to me, and maybe just a little something from the ferment. the taste is similar, almost corny sweet on the front end but then resolved later, a touch of acidity from the tangerine coming in to cut the sweetness as well, and some citrus peel and hop bitterness together crisping up the finish. i dont mind that a little alcohol comes through, and think all these flavors and textures on such a light body but strong ale is kind of cool, unique and summery somehow, if drinking this kind of beer in hot weather is your thing. its dangerous like that. a solid food beer, and one of the better heretic offerings i have encountered in awhile, very well done and distinctive in a cool style space, recommended!

Pours a hazy pale-golden with a nice foam. The armoa is unmistakabley orange with light hops and yeast. The flavor is crisp with orange, but not sweet, still having the bitterness of the hops. It's balanced. The 9% alcohol is nowhere to be found. It taste for more clear and fresh than its ABV might indicate. Careful!
