Yayowza! This is a large abv beer and should be approached with caution....my lips are numb. I got a can of this beer off the single shelf from my local beer store located just around the corner. It poured a hazy orangish with thin white head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had dank stone fruit peel spice notes. The taste once the taste buds adjust has a very sweet life savor malt start that quickly turns somewhat bitter with citrus hop and booze....finish each sip with a slight shake of the head. The mouthfeel was fuller in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a beer that should be tried....glad I didn't by the 4-pck...but glad to have tried it....as my uncle used to say....."that will put hair on your chest! "

I see BB1313 put this in here for us. Thanks. I wonder if he also gets stuff from Saveon in Mentor.

I'm not sure I am ready for this really big shot here, but I'll give it a go.

It pours not all that atypical. Nice head. The aroma means business. You get a mountain of hops trying to cover a bigger mountain of malts, resulting is some serious boozy smell. The taste immediately lets you know that a smaller sips will be fine. It's thick and syrupy yet it has a lot of grassy hops underneath the mountain of malts. It's quite palatable while being well over malted. I don't think this will keep well - I am happy mine are only three weeks old.

Recommended. I bought two, and I'm glad I did. I will enjoy the other one very soon. It's nice to have an alcohol bomb that isn't a stout and have it work.

Can pour- not quite clear golden honey color with thick white head leaving moderately foamy lacing. Nose is in your face with hops and malt. Taste grabs you by the tongue and there's no letting up. Serious booziness on the finish. This is gonna be fun!

16oz can poured into a tulip. Pours golden with some haze; fluffy white head that falls leaving great thick retention and sticky lacing. The aromas have a decent amount of tropical fruits coming through, especially pineapple. Some crackers and breads. Malts are there. The flavors are extremely bold. More pineapple. Some orange and grapefruit coming through as well. Some garlic in the mix. Hints of caramel. Some rye and black pepper coming through to give it a little spiciness. Solid bitterness. Great hop flavors. Moderate to low sweetness. The alcohol is noticeable at 16.5% ABV. It finishes a little hot, but in a good way. It's definitely not a boozy mess or anything like that. Mouthfeel is full-bodied with moderate carbonation. It's fluffy and smooth. This one obviously makes for a great sipper due to the ABV, but there's a nice complexity to this one as well.

This is an awesome brew. It's a big Imperial IPA, and it drinks pretty big, but in a good way. It starts off huge and hot, but quickly becomes as balanced as you could hope for with a beer this big. They really nailed the high ABV DIPA. Great flavors to boot. The craftsmanship is on point. It's extremely enjoyable and fun to drink. Well done. It's definitely worth checking out if you come across it.
