Our sun will be a Red Giant in 5 billion years, this hoppy red ale is a Red Giant now. Brewed with a rich blend of light and dark caramel malts and a full dose of American hops, it finishes with dry hop and toffee flavors.

Solidly amber in color and clear. Lasting head which leaves a combination of webs and blankets for lace.
All malt in the nose. There's a bit of malt extract to this, although I'm assured by the waiter that this is all grain. In a word, sweet. Little hop.
Earthy flavor up front. Very dry, given the aroma. The finish reminds me of a mild porter. The aftertaste is relatively short. Rich body but with an elevated carbonation.
