Poured on tap at the brewpub into a sampler.
Light off white and creamy head, not much retention but some good staying power. Leopard an creamy thick coating of lace. Body is a deep apricot orange with a slight bit of haze.
Nose delivers fruit softness. Soft orange juice and nice cream vanilla sweetness. Not much Belgian sensing character to this.
Palate and flavors really seem to emphasise the cream. Creamy vanilla texture as well as flavor with a soft malted body. Orange fruit almost tropical, but while soft malt it cones out kind of pillowy without much density. Belgian style very hidden.
I sort of see this as a real well developed and made fruit beer. Not sure if this is Belgian might be, but it doesnt have any sensing Belgian qualities of sucrose or sweet thickness. Still a real solid beer though, very enjoyable.
