A "red stout" brewed with a blend of caramel malts, malted rye, Munich & caramel malts for creaminess. Velvet Red has a super smooth toastiness which is robust and re-freshing.

Had off cask, such a creamy stout, almost like coffee off nitro. Light hints of chocolate and coffee. Red in color, but stout in flavor. Love what Big Island Brewing consistently puts out.
