Had on draft at HopCat Ann Arbor 2/6/16.
Pours a dark ruby amber, mostly clear, with a small head and some soapy lacing. Nice color. Smell is malt, citrus and resiny hops, brown sugar. Taste also leads with the malt, then citrusy hops- a good orange flavor, brown sugar, caramel, light vanilla. Good hop bitterness midway through the finish. Smooth, good body, good level of carbonation.
A good amber ale, really good hop flavors.
