Poured into a Bruery snifter. Canned 6/24/20.
Pours jet black with a light ring of head around the glass. Looks pretty much like all of Witch’s Hat’s higher ABV stouts.
Whew! I totally get a blast of cashew on the nose. And something sort of mapley. Smells fantastic! Also get a lot of alcohol in that smell.
Taste follows the nose pretty closely. That 13% is hidden VERY well. Is there maple in this beer?? I get maple-sweetened cashews.
Feel is just like other WH stouts. Good.
This is a very well-made stout. Would drink again.
