The beer pours a very dark brown color with an off-white head.
The smell reminds of diry socks at first, but the slightly musty smells are from the Brett and this adds a nice complexity that is on the edge of not liking/liking it. There are some flowery and fruity notes as well as musty, basement kind of notes. Interesting none the less.
The taste is a base of a decent porter, with mild roasted notes and a above average bitterness. The brett adds another layer of taste, which is flowery and fruity with a musty, sweaty socks kind of taste. The mouthfeel is sweet and soft,, the aftertaste is a lingering bitter.
