33 cl bottle, vintage 2016, at home. Pours a deep dark brown colour with a reddish hue. Off white head, quickly receding until there's hardly anything left. Aroma's of dried fruit, raisins, candy sugar. Retronasal there's molasses and candy sugar, a bit oxidation, dried fruit. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with light (dried) fruity sourness. Warming alcohol but not too sharp. Light bitterness in the finish. Very pleasant, but maybe this would be better dubbed a Belgian Strong ale?
