A pitch black beer with a huge off-white head that drops into a fine layer.
The smell is light roasted with notes of coffee. The peppers give the beer a 'green' and somewhat peppery plant smell, but this is very faint. If I don't know if I would have picked up the peppers if I didn't know.
The taste is lightly roasted with notes of chocolate and coffee, the roast is mild and lacks the acrid, acidic malt bitterness, which is good for a light ABV beer like this. Bitterness is low. Mouthfeel is a little sticky and perfect. The peppers are not showing up, other than a 1 second sensation after swallowing.
