Dark copper color with a thick thin off-white head.
Aroma with notes of cocoa, Belgian yeast, raisins, cinnamon, caramel and mild cloves and toast.
Flavor with notes of cinnamon, brown sugar, raisins, pine, banana, some higher alcohols and a bit of cloves. Dry and bitter aftertaste.
Light towards medium body with appropriate carbonation. Alcohol of 7.5% is well disguised.
This could be richer. This style cannot go session. On the other hand, cocoa should match well Dubbel flavors and it has enough IBUs to balance its sweetness.
