750 mL Champagne like bottle, thanks DoubleJ,
A: Pours orange with a medium white head, good retention, no lace, very light in colour for a dubbel.
S: Sweet malt and stone fruit, not bad.
T: Malt and orange ester character, the malt dominates though it is quite hoppy for the style. Not a lot of yeast character which makes the style for me.
M: Frothy, medium-bodied, pretty smooth overall.
O: This certainly was a fun beer to open with a devil cork as I christened it. Nice to try this style from Brasil, but they're still a long way from matching Belgium.

Prestigious looking 750 ml bottle with foil wrapped around the neck. An earlier excahnge with Sergio made tasting this interior São Paulo brewery a possibility, valeu! On to the beer:
The cork is easily the longest I've ever seen, and it was a pain to pull out. Once it's pulled off, a caramel orange color with okay lace sits above the liquid. The nose has a little dubbel, like a grape note, though some grainy aroma does get in the way and provide basically neutrality to the situation.
Not much of a grainy taste, which is good. The taste is fine; somewhat yeasty and fruity, more grape notes. The overall chracter is soft, which helps. The alcohol hides itself well.
An okay dubbel. Too bad the beer itself didn't live up to the class of the bottle label.
