I visited Mission Springs last weekend on a little jaunt up to the Fraser Valley. It's kind of odd -- they didn't have any of their own beers on tap at all. Their website says they still have a brewery on-site, but the only beers they were pouring when I visited were from other breweries. They had about 24 taps in total: a few beers from Red Truck, from Phillips, from Hoyne, as well as some Canadian macro lagers and a few imports. So, I can't really judge them on the quality of their beers.
The place itself is divided between a restaurant side and a pub side. The pub side has a bunch of TVs with sports, but is otherwise rustic with lots of exposed wood and whatnot, and eclectic decorations on the walls. There's also an outdoor patio area with a lovely view of the Fraser. The service at the bar was great -- my bartender was friendly and attentive. I had the club sandwich for lunch and it was pretty solid!
If I'm ever in the Abbotsford area again, I'll have to come by here and see if they have their own beer again. Maybe it's a temporary condition, like maintenance or something? I really ought to have asked the bartender.
