Tres Vaqueros Amber Ale

Big foam up in the wine glass. It subsides to a nice-looking lot of creamy foam along the glass on the dark amber brew. Smell is of toffee and damp cardboard. Oddly bitter with some stray sourish notes. A hint of plastic and rust. There is some maltiness that seems more or less normal.

Overall, this is pretty wretched stuff, bitter and dishwatery. I wish I had taken the advice of being skeptical of beer that is undated, much less stored on warm shelves, at Lee's Discount Liquor in Nevada.
