Goodlife makes a very good IPA, as well as a decent DIPA, so I thought they might do an OK job with a TIPA. Unfortuanately, I think this is a fail for them. The beer is overly sweet, malty and boozy, with not enough underlying hoppy bitterness to handle it. I ordered just a taste of this at the Tap & and Growler, and could barely finish that. I can't imagine trying to down an entire glass of this stuff.
Give me a glass of Descender every time over this stuff.
