We owe a ton to our wild, forested watersheds. They’re the backdrop to endless GoodLife adventure. They’re also our natural born purifies, transforming snow and rain into fresh, crystalline water. Water that makes seriously tasty and distinctly Bend beer.
The Pacific Northwest is home to some of Earth’s finest water, and to salute the source, we’re donating a portion of this ale’s sales to the Oregon Brewshed® Alliance and Washington Brewshed® Alliance, two crews committed to defending and protecting the wilds and it’s mighty watersheds. Because great beer in the great outdoors means going with the flow.

Creamy, Malty, Earthy, Dry
The first in GoodLife's "Sustainable Session Series," Brewshed pours copper in color with a slight haze and creamy lace. Its nose is grainy and earthy nose while the mouthfeel is super creamy with a splash of citric hop bitterness right up front. A fruity, almost grape-like sweetness with a solid malty backbone that brings a touch of caramel is followed by some bread crust, a dry astringency underneath, and a crackery, earthy finish. Not only has GoodLife made a good session brew, but 1 percent of the total sales of this beer go to protecting the mighty watersheds of Oregon and Washington.
As reviewed in BeerAdvocate magazine #111 (April 2016).

Poured from 12oz can into a dimpled mug.
Appearance: medium orange hue with a light haze. Head pours a finger of frothy ivory foam but it doesn't stick around too long; color is great, though.
Smell: sweet with a rather fruity characte; I'm getting a little strawberry and raspberry. Unusual, but interesting.
Taste: toasty and a little floral, but with a nice bitterness toward the end. I like it.
Mouthfeel: surprisingly creamy for a light-bodied session ale; quite good indeed!
Overall: a decent session pale ale. Definitely worth trying.
