2 x imperial pint at f/Stop Fitzgerald pub in Salem Oregon.
$6.00 per pint
Had this beer many times at this location.
Pours a nice clear light golden (traditional) with a nice sized frothy white head. Great lace.
Good malty and strong floral hop aromas. Simple but inviting.
This tastes a bit like Bitburg would taste fresh (I imagine). Lovely drinkable stuff. Not Top Tier for lagers here in the PNW, but top of the Second Division for sure.
Nice drinkable, workingman's pilsner.

Enjoyed on-tap at the Good Life in Massapequa Park, NY. Brewed at the Good Life Brewing Company in Bend, Oregon. Light gold in color, with a finger-plus of bubbly head and bubbles streaming up from the bottom in a tall flute/pilsener glass. Lightly grainy malts on the nose complemented by something floral and maybe herbal/spicy. Clean hop element devoid of anything fruity, which was rather refreshing given all the IPAs I've been drinking. Light-feeling with medium carbonation; crisp and clean. Some drying on the finish. I'm not expert enough with the style, but I'll say it is a respectable entry into the field, but nothing you're missing out on if you never have it.
