Appearance: a light and clear yellowish orange. A small off white head that leaves nothing behind
Smell: very grassy, a little sweet. Some nuttiness
Taste: opens up with some lager yeast. Strong musky/grassy taste sometimes comes of a little nutty. Some sweetness in the back. Not very balanced and quite watery
Mouthfeel: light and slightly crisp. But I take into account that it is quite watery
Overall: I was excited to try a maibock in a brewery with a strong German theme. But this was a pretty disappointing trip. It was drinkable but had little to it

Consumed May 14th, 2012 at the brewery.
Clear, medium gold with a fine white head. Very good sheeting.
Slight honey aroma.
Fruity, estery up front. Sweet. PIls malts are evident. Low bitterness.
Mouthfeel is unremarkable save for a slight carbonation bite.
Flavor profile is off from the style, but there are no flaws here. A touch more hop bitterness would have helped.
