I'm not quite sure why this is listed as a Belgian IPA, this is pretty much a fruit beer. Had this at Dark Lord Day on draft.
It pours a bright reddish pink, a little cloudy and smells bright and fruity.
The taste is of the wild strawberry jam my aunt used to make from strawberries that grew in her forest. The reason I use the word wild is because it's not like that overly sweet, tart, bright neon red mass produced jelly substance. It's a more mild, delicate, rounded flavor, still very sweet for a beer, but absolutely delicious and almost thirst quenching. Does not so much feel like you are having a dessert beer, but more like a health drink--one you might try to spread on toast if not for its liquidity. Maybe dip the toast in it, hahaha!
As I was on my way to the portable tap station, I found out the reason they brewed Big Freedia, coinciding with the timing of the Indiana legislation, it just made my enjoyment of the beer even better, because I love it when influential people stick it to bigots.

Something was just not right about this one. Definitely an off flavor. Tasted at DLD '15. First beer of the day.

Really interesting beer here; I liken it to a weaker Permanent Funeral, with lots of fruit in it. Very distinct and hoppy, and probably something that will be great on a summer day.
I didn't think I'd care when this got bottled, but after having it at Dark Lord Day, I think I'll probably have to pick up a bottle or two. Very surprised, but if FFF does anything well, it's hoppy beers.

Appearance - When I see a pink beer, I think of Leinie's Berry Weiss. It's not often that you see a pink Belgian IPA. So, I will assign points for uniqueness.
Smell - The nose was floral with some fruit impressions.
Taste - My initial impression was lime. And oh do I love lime. Citrus, banana, and their is even a fruit punch quality to this beer. The lime really lingers in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - For the style, I thought the beer was very thin. The carbonation was appropriate.
Overall - If it is true that this is getting bottled, I can slam many bottles of this delicious beer on a hot summer day. Well done FFF.
