Listed at the bar as a "smoked beer," I honestly expected this to be a stout or porter. Rather, its golden hue caught me off-guard. That being said, this beer is delicious. Not assertively hoppy nor smokey upfront, it provides a subtle and pleasant campfire-esque flavor in its finish that begins abrputly, not lasting too long, and finishing clean as your palate begs for another sip.

Enjoyed at Three Floyds on tap in a German lens glass 1/16/16.
Look - Cloudy. Well carbonated. Copper. Thick white head. Not much lacing.
Smell - Banana. Grass. Smoke.
Taste - Smoked banana. I'll keep it simple because that is what it is.
Feel - Not as heavy or carbonated as expected. Juicy but does dry up to a light alcohol burn.
Overall - Smokey banana.

I love Drunk Monk so much and this is really similar
The smoke in this is beyond subtle. Blind taste and you wouldn't know it was smoked
Smell of banana just like most hefes but especially drunk monk
Nice strong body, moreso than a traditional hefe.
Color was just a nice hazy light goldish yellow, with finger white head
Loved this beer.. it was most had beer at Floyds this weekend as I made three stops at the pub
