Tasted in a snifter from draft at Consume on February 1, 2018. An oatmeal stout brewed with peanut butter and cocoa nibs. Feel is medium to full in body.

This is a pretty tasty treat, but actually prefer Absence of Light and would always choose it instead.

Look - great dark beer with a good tan lasting head and skimming
Smell - sweet toasty Pb and slight cocoa, very different
Taste - powdered Pb with that bitter cocoa nib and sweet caramel maltiness
Feel - lighter body with a slightly gay crisp carbonation
Overall - different but tasty beer

The appearance is a nice dark oatmeal stout look with tan head that dissipates to a rim and light lacing. But what stands out is the aroma. Incredibly pungent deep peanut caught me off guard. Much stronger aroma than most beers, and I quite like it. The taste follows the nose. Very strong nut dominates the underlying stout base. There is a bit of a peanut butter sweetness on the finish. Overall I enjoyed this way more than I was expecting given the rating. But it is a dessert beer and I probably couldn’t drink more than one or two.

On tap - 8 oz pour

A- Black with fluffy tan head
S- Yeasty, roasted/ cracked malt
T- Hummm. I don't think I would have picked out peanut unless I read the description. I get some flavors I would typically associate with scotch ales or possibly a baltic porter.... light caramels. A bit of baker's cocoa. As it warms, starts to pick up cola flavors
F- Thin/medium... not a stout feel
O- Pretty disappointed in this "stout" from FFF. Glad they are experimenting, but this is one I won't need to revisit.
