Poured by Nic Floyd himself. I got a little more information at the brewery, and presumed thered be more info at www.brewersofindianaguild.com/, but nothing there yet. I do know the recipe is for an American Pale Ale, and the Floyds result cant help but be compared to Alpha King. This one is slightly lower in hops, giving it more room for a spicy/citrus compenent. The malt bill seems to be just a bit darker and richer, too. Slightly ochre color, representative pale ale head, all in all a great summer refresher.
Trouble with these Replic Ale contests is that its hard to compare the results unless youre at a specific event, but if they catch on, maybe therell be guest taps at participants outlets.
