On draft at FFF in Munster, IN.
Loads of barrel character and it somehow works with the sweet malt backbone. Some citrus also still present.

Of the couple dozen beers tried at the EBF, I'm only rating two that I had multiples of early in the evening - and this is one of them. Totally caught me by surprise. I'm not a fan of massive IPAs or gin but these two elements played incredibly well together. The floral and citrus hops danced beautifully with the botanicals from the gin. Citrusy, herbal with bright botanicals, a balancing alcohol heat and a level of smoothness brought about by the barrel made this a standout.

Looks like a cider, smells barrel aged, and strong taste lingers. Sweet, slight booziness. Really liked this concoction at Three Floyd's.

Not a pretty beer, but the taste absolutely makes up for it. So much better than the base beer. I have never had a beer aged in gin barrels, but this is fantastic. Sweet and boozy with the barrel coming into play as it warms up. Almost reminiscent of Quanto but I dont know why. I hope this gets bottled.

Had this beer at the 3 Floyds brewpub yesterday. According to the description the beer was aged in Few Gin barrels. Gin was abundantly present in both the smell and taste along with a fair amount of boozy alcoholic heat. The aging seems to have mellowed out the hops in the beer considerably. One of the more interesting and enjoyable brews I've had in quite some time.
