Tasted in a tall tulip from draft at Kuma's Corner on April 20, 2019. Single hop IPA brewed with an experimental hop from France. Notes of fruit, gum and grass.

Enjoyed on draft at the brewpub in proper glassware. This one was quite interesting, one of the more distinctive beers I've had that's been labeled an IPA. I finished it after having their salad for dinner, but I don't think that was contaminating my tastebuds. I don't know much about the experimental French hop variety that went into the beer, but the end product was very floral in character, with the closest comparison I could draw being lavender. The flavor profile was also floral, with moderate bitterness and some mildly sweet blueberry notes. I don't think it would be a commercial hit, but I'm glad to have tried it.

Enjoyed this at the 3F brewpub today on May 3, 2017.
This beer is a bright, light, rather opaque peachy orange with a nice fluffy head. The smell of 3F-style hops is apparent on the nose. This is a single-hop brew, said to be an "experimental" variety from France. The flavor of the hops is distinctive, interesting, and satisfying: a little bit fruity, a little bit dank, with a strong, bitter finish. Quite original. The malt comes through light and lucid. The body is medium; overall, the beer feels substantial but not heavy. Everything is in the right proportion. This is classic 3F stuff. Highly recommended and worthy of bottling. A keeper.
