Appearance - The beer had the inky black color of Dark Lord with a dark mocha head.
Smell - Tart cherries made their mark in the nose. The overall profile was sweet.
Taste - The beer was very unique. Tart Cherries led the way. The profile was not overly tart as to create off flavors like an infection. The sweet roastiness of Dark Lord set a perfect backbone.
Mouthfeel - Dark Lord has the viscosity of used motor oil.
Overall - This is very underrated, and one of my favorite variants.

Appearance - Pours thick viscous jet black with a huge mocha color head that after a long time settles to a thin tight ring.
Aroma - Tart cherries, leather, little bit of light grape wine, nice amount of barrel.
Taste - Mad amount of tart cherries, lots of barrel, leather, tobacco, white wine/grape. So complex.
Feel - Full bodied, creamy, slightly bitter form the cherries no sign of the alcohol.
Overall - Really well done, tart cherries work so well with this beer. Very easy drinking for such a high ABV.
