Upon recovery, his robotic parts give him superhuman strength and speed. These powers don't go unnoticed by the clandestine philanthropic group The Order of the Black Phoenix. He is quickly recruited by The Order to battle evil for the good of mankind. This hazy, superfruity IPA was brewed in his honor.

$16 4-Pack
Three Floyds Kiosk

The 25 Million Dollar Man is bionically apricot hued. It's hazy but you can see through it like the hazy beers of yore, unlike the new liquified cardboard looking monstrosities. This beer manages to glow bright. A perfectly white head hits three fingers on a careless pour and takes a day and a half to recede to a thick cap. Big, chunky, pillowy, sticky lace super glues itself to the glass.

Three Floyd's, and their use of hops, is still at the top of the game. This beer sports a big dose of apricot right off the bat, vibrant ripe & sugar concentrated dried. Grapefruit rind and lime zest bring some added depth to the middle. Shortbread sweetness makes up the malt base. The vibrancy of that apricot is really something else.

The flavor creates its own path away from that the nose led. That big, bold apricot opens things up and is quickly met by grapefruit flesh and juice. The apricot is ripe and dried, like I mentioned above, while the grapefruit is bright and pure. A squeeze of lime continue the vibrancy onslaught. All these tremendously potent and clean hop notes sit atop a soft, complimentary shortbread base with a drizzle of caramel. This is a clean, bold beer.

The body is pretty interesting and actually fits like a glove. It's light off the bat and becomes increasingly airy as it works its way through, finally ending on frothiness. Bitterness is low at first drink then continues to build layer upon layer until it's a bruiser. Drinkability is off the charts with that frothy appeal.

The 25 Million Dollar Man is another excellent IPA from Three Floyds. It's not your typical Floydian style either. Light and airy with ample bitterness. What is Floydian style is that near perfect apricot note they get out of whatever magical hop they use. Besides the apricot, the citric notes build and build. This stuff is bueno.

From tasting notes 10/14/17
Had on-tap at 3 Floyds Brewing in Munster, IN

Appearance - Served in a 20oz nonic, hazy and straw yellow in color with a foamy, white and consistent layer of suds that cling strongly around the edges. Thick coating of lace decorates the glass.

Smell - Juicy aroma that's equal parts citrus and stonefruit; light apricot and peach.

Taste - Flavor is both fruity and slightly buttery. Yeah, definitely some buttery character. Fruitiness hits on orange, passionfruit and a bit of peach. A hint of leafiness develops mid-taste. Finish lingers with a nice balance of the aforementioned flavors.

Mouthfeel - Medum-bodied with fair carbonation. Slick, easy drinker with a touch of chalk and dryness in the finish.

Overall - Most people hate that butteryn iacetyl character that sometines found in beer, but I'm a fan of it in small quantities. One of 3 Floyds better beers IMO.

As one of the premiere IPA makers on the planet, the Three Floyds Brewing Company embark on a hot, sexy and trendy styled ale that gets them out of the comfort zone. Going where no Floyd has gone before, they their brewers jump on the haze train; destination: juicy junction.

Cloudy gold and crowned with an ivory coat, the beer swoons the senses with a rich fruitiness that hinges on high tropical fruit and citrus. Herbal, butterscotch and melon-like, its succulent scent dives right into a cakey sweetness of honey, croissant and sherbet.

Rolling along the middle palate, the beer shows a slow recession toward dryness, but its fruit flavors rise to prominence. Pineapple, blood orange, mango, passionfruit, lemon and nectarines bring a branch ripened, juicy, fruit filled flavor that's condensed in its richness. Trending over ripened at times, the rich fruit flavors wash the late palate with cantaloup, chive, green tea and an overall botanical, cannabis character.

Smoothly bitter, the beer retracts from the intense bitter power of West Coast varieties while allowing the sweet juiciness to persist in finish. Trending malty dry, the medium bodied beer begins creamy and finishes malty dry with a medium long linger of grass, herb and buttered oranges.

Very golden and beautiful just like every great New England style IPA. Don’t let that fool you, this beer is anything but great. The nose was buttery as was the taste. Very unlike three Floyd’s brewery. They should go back to the drawing board on the New England style IPA.

Really hazy, golden color with a white head. Aromas are dank citrus hops, primarily grapefruit,

Taste is citrusy hops, with grapefruit the primary flavor, but there’s also a significant passion fruit component, and something like mango. This is really enjoyable.

Tasted in a pint glass from draft at Smoke Daddy on November 9, 2017. Look is hazy with a thick head and sticky lacing. Less juicy and more bitter than a typical NE style.

New england meets Muenster Indiana. Very juicy, tons of fresh hops, not as hazy as a true NE IPA but still a delicious balance of the IBU bombs 3 floyds is known for with the fresh juicy bombs of NE
