Shiny black with red hued ribbons throughout and a sticky, uneven bubbly froth that dies to nothing quickly.
A little thinner and not as sweet as the base, I found this to be not quite the standout that the Oloroso Sherry variant was, featuring quite a bit of dark fruits and molasses. This comes across almost like a barrel-aged English Barleywine blended with a heavy RIS.
