A smooth, medium-bodied session beer with bright citrus hop aroma and finish. Our interpretation of an American mild ale.

Pours super hazy apricot, decent enough head, which disappeared rapidly.
pleasant citrus and grassy scents,
Taste is also citrusy, tangerine, orange candy slices, very mild with a hint of spice. semi-crisp, semi-juicy. Nice short finish. Lots to discover and like.
Crushable favorable pale. Need more of these pleasant pale ales around,

Clear, light amber, generous white head, excellent retention, rings of lace
Light, citrusy hop aroma with a bit of sweet, toasty malt underneath
Sweet, toasty malt and sweet citrusy hop flavor
Medium-light bodied, could use a touch more carbonation
Nice easy drinker

Pours out of the can a slightly opaque copper color with a finger of head that dissipates within a minute. Smells a little earthy, citrus rind and even peppery. Taste follows suit with a nice hoppy bitterness and good full mouthfeel. You can't go wrong with 3Floyds and they just make my weekend.

Bottle. White head with a lot of lace. Autumn orange gold. Cloudy.
Reminds me a bit of summit epa. English style pale ale. Malty, bready, biscuity, toasted crackers. Earthy, floral hops. Nice bitterness. A little resin. A little grapefruit. Very good. Love these American brewed English ales when they are done correctly.

Oh boy, this beer is something special to me. It’s not that I’ve been drinking it for a long time or it was one of my first or whatever. Rather, this beer was the drink of choice for an amazing weekend in NYC about a month back with my buddy for our first concerts since March 2020. We stopped at Half Time in Mamaroneck on the way as we typically do, and went for it by grabbing 3 six packs of this beer. It was our favorite for the weekend, and I recall having several as shower beers before the first concert. Anyhow, this is a beer of a great weekend, so I’m happy I found a bottle to review
Pours a cloudy orange gold with a finger of creamy white head that slowly fades to a thin cap and leaves decent lacing
As I take the first whiff of this I remember that balance is the best part of this beer. I’m picking up on aromas of toasted malt, peppery hops, pithy grapefruit, orange rind, herbal tea, and caramel
It’s certainly more hop forward in taste than in aroma, but the balance still tracks. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting piney hops, lemon rind, caramel malt, white pepper, and toasted grain. The swallow brings notes of pithy grapefruit, oily hops, caramel malt, toast, and herbal tea
A medium body pairs with gentle carbonation, resulting in a crisp and clean beer. Finishes mostly dry with a wonderful balance
This beer is just straight up awesome. For a sessionable beer it does not relent in flavor. Plus, it will always carey great memories for me

On tap at Tap and Mallet in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a fairly clear dark orange-ish color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like toasted malt, tea, piney hops, grapefruit rind, and caramel.
This feels like a pretty old school American-style pale ale, and it does pretty well at that game. There's a light but distinct hop character - black tea, grapefruit peel/rind, pine, lemon, etc, with a supportive toasty and caramelly malt backbone. It's all quite well balanced.
This is light bodied, and very clean, with a great drinkability and crispness.
I really like this one. It's somewhere between a pale mild and a very old school American pale ale. I guess it's its own thing.

12oz bottle into a pint glass. Appears to have been bottled 6/3/21, so 3 weeks old.
Looks good in the glass. Hazy yellow/amber body. Nice white head persists throughout leaving excellent lacing.
Hoppy aroma with some mixed fruit notes.
On tasting, hoppy, citrusy, quite bitter.
.
Mouth medium, finish somewhat bitter grapefruit.
Overall, got excited when I saw "mild ale" on the bottle, but as others have said, a straight up hoppy pale ale, and a good one.

There's nothing wrong with this beer, but it feels more like an SNPA clone than an "American Mild Ale." The hops are not particularly distinct, and the malt doesn't add any real complexity, with the result being a rather middling beer. Wouldn't get it again. ABV: 5% IBU: 42
Pours a white foam that has somewhat longer than average retention, fading to a thin ring around the perimeter of the glass. Lacing is excellent, with patterns composed of dots and webs clinging to all sides of the glass. Body is a golden orange color, light bringing out orange-yellow hues. Transparent, but there is sediment/debris at the bottom of the bottle.
Aroma is disappointingly bland, with just a hint of light citrusy and tropical hop character and a bit of fruity sweetness.
Flavor is a mix of bitter hoppiness with a bit of bitter grapefruit rind and a touch of red currant piquancy and spice. Front: light to medium-colored caramel malt sweetness/character with a bit of light citrus fruitiness. Mid: light to medium-colored caramel malt sweetness/character mixed with moderate hop bitterness that has a definite bitter citrus/grapefruit pith edge and slight fruitiness in the background. Back: continued medium hop bitterness with a grapefruit pith and dry/slight harshness to it, currant-like spiciness, and slight hint of light to medium-colored caramel malt. After: lingering hop bitterness and spice, slightly chemical/harsh, as from grapefruit pith and currants, a touch of light to medium-colored caramel malt character/sweetness in the far background.
Beer is medium-light in body, with carbonation of medium intensity, resulting in a mostly foamy mouthfeel, medium-sized bubbles. Closes dry, with medium to medium-heavy stickiness on the lips and palate.
