Dubbed as an "Italian" IPA. Named in honor of a new brewer at FFF.

A-That awesome looking nitro head just screams out at you! Light copper with a tight, billowing off-white head.

S-Grassy, peaches and a hint of pine. All of this backed up by a light sweetness.

T-Sweet up front quickly subdude by spicy hops. A swirl of light citrus, pine and floral qualities.

M-Medium bodied and crisp. A pleasant smoothness offered up by the nitro. Long lasting bitterness.

D-Nice stuff. Interesting, one does not often see IPA's offered on nitro.

Pours a clean orange-ish/ copper color, with a white head. In the aroma, a small hop, yet due to nitro, not much aroma. In the taste, nice centenial hops and a balanced malt. A bitter hop, and medium mouthfeel, with a dry and hoppy aftertaste. I think it would be better not on nitro, nice hops, and what makes it Italian??

Got a growler from the guy that brewed it at 3F, Travis himself. He force-carbonated it for me and it turned out well.

The color was darker than I expected and the scent of the beer definitely had the sweet smell of pine. The beer tasted almost sweet, like a fruit, but with a clean finish. Similar to the Broodoo's wet hop taste.

It's after New Years and the growler is empty. I will definitely miss this beer. It was very sad when a guest tipped the growler one last time and said, "That's it for the Travis."

While this beer still packs a punch at 7% (not my definition of a session beer), it's a very mellow offering from 3F.

But don't take mellow in a negative sense, it's nice to see the Indiana folks hold back from their extremes once in a while and show off their brewing chops -- this is a great brew.

Medium, light-brownish head dissipates quickly but leaves a thin layer on top of its deep, dark-orange body. Smells like a walk through a forest of pine trees (unintentional ((?)) xmas-osity). Sticky but unassuming mouthfeel. Delicious, pine-y, fresh hop-crispness throughout...never becomes overwhelming and tempered with notes of creamy dulce de leche-ish malt. Remarkable lacing: canyonscapes of stalactite followed the brew down the glass as I drained 4 of these in about an hour and a half. Supremely sessionable. So incredibly good alongside my Sweet Chili Glazed Wahoo.

Very creamy mouthfeel due to the nitro, with low carbonation like a cask ale. Mild aroma, leafy hops. Taste brings an unusual but distinctive combo of leafy hops and cantaloupe or starfruit. Definitely not a citrusy hop, but there are some unique fruit notes going on. Coloration is orange, with whipped meringue snowdrifts of foam that have staying power. Dry finish and fairly light feel overall, this is an understated IPA instead of a major 3F ballbuster, ala Dreadnaught.

This was brewed in the namesake of Travis, a new brewer at 3 Floyds.
